Hello to those of you who read,
After taking a break from the site to sort myself out and get my life back together, I’m finally going to work on the things I previously mentioned; like the sampler, BLM merch etc.
I’m currently looking for as many bands as I can find, so hook me up. I’m going to be completely honest now: I’m not really looking for hardcore bands. I’m not saying that I will not feature them, because I absolutely will, but I don’t have enough bands from other genres. So if you know any great bands that don’t rely on break downs, let me know!
Hopefully tomorrow or monday I will have the May shows listed.
I think that’s all for now.

Just like everyone (and thing, really) else in the world, Boston Local Music has joined myspace. We’re doing our best to get our name out there so we can network and get your names out there. We’re working on a lot of really great stuff, and we want to make it the best we can; things like samplers, merch, and maybe even some shows in the future.
So support BLM and add us to your myspace by clicking here.
You can start looking forward to an interview with On The Surface (who you can see at Paper next thursday night!), and Craig White, Spin’s (next to the palace in Saugus) 80’s night DJ , in the very near future. There’s a lot of great shows coming up so make sure you click on the Shows Update link and check out February!
That’s all for now. Don’t forget to tell all your friends about BLM!

Hey Guys,
There’s a couple of things I want to address.
1. BLM is working on putting out a sampler of local, unsigned bands. Not only will it help get your bands name out, but it will help get our site out there too. So, if you’re a local band interested in being on the sampler (any kind of music) please contact me at lalz.blm@gmail.com .
2. The Hope Conspiracy show on February 11th has had a location and time change. It will be held at Club Lido (Wonderland T stop in Revere) at 3:00 PM.
Right now, that’s all I can think of. Make sure you guys check out Francine tonight at Harper’s Ferry (Paper!). They go on at 10.

Sin City Booking is an agency based out of Lynn, Massachusetts. Chris Rebidue and Steve Lally recently formed the agency. While Rebidue and Lally book all different genres of music, most of the recent shows have been of the hardcore persuasion. They are working with bands such as The Acacia Strain, Colin of Arabia, Across Five Aprils, In Remembrance, Bury Your Dead, Death Before Dishonor and Since the Flood. This duo books their own shows (including birthday parties!), promotes other agencies shows all over New England, and does some recording as well.
“I want to bring all the bands I love here,” said Rebidue. “I’m doing something I love doing, and the way it’s going it could turn into a career.”
Rebidue and Lally are two of the nicest guys in Boston booking, without question. Despite being swamped with messages from bands from all over the country, they manage to be professional, friendly, and dependable.

Hi. BostonLocalMusic.com will be a blog about bands, artists and shows in and around our fair city of Boston. We’re obviously not live yet, so there’s nothing here but this message. We are looking for a blogger, so if you’re interested, leave a comment and we’ll get back to you.
Thanks.
